Soprano Toni Marie Palmertree was a force as Countess Almaviva in OperaDelaware's production of The Marriage of Figaro in May of 2022. Toni Marie was joined by pianist Aurelien Eulert for TWO performances of A Valentine Cabaret on February 12 and 14 at the OperaDelaware Studios. The duo presented songs ranging from romantic to whimsical as they explored the emotional range of Valentine’s Day. With pieces by Benjamin Britten, Kurt Weill, and Cole Porter, the audience left with tummies full of butterflies and bubbly champagne!

OperaDelaware and The BlueBallRoom Dance Studio partnered for a one-night-only evening of romance, dance, and cabaret, on February 14, 2023. From 7-7:30 PM, The BlueBallRoom Studio will hosted a dance class with renowned Ukrainian National Professional Ballroom Champions Denis Parfyonov and Tania Sopit in the Ethel L. Sayre Recital Hall. This informal class gave audiences a chance to experience what our friends at BlueBallRoom offer! During intermission, Denis and Tania joined our audience again for more dancing, drinks, and romance!
Both the Ethel L. Sayre Recital Hall and the Presser Black Box Theater are located in the OperaDelaware Studios (4 S. Poplar St).
