The inaugural Divine Night in Delaware was a SOLD OUT event at The Grand Opera House on March 28! The evening began with a red carpet runway photoshoot with pOPERAzzi photographers, Italian food from Bachetti Bros, a complimentary glass of champagne from Swigg, cash bar, and a DJ in the lobby of the Baby Grand. The night featured stunning performances from OperaDelaware (soprano Michelle Johnson, tenor Dane Suarez, and baritone Brian Major), First State Ballet Theatre, hip-hop artist Richard Raw, soul singer Nadj Nicole, drummer and artivist Jonathan Whitney and spoken word poet Dennis Spence!
The Divine Nine organization that had the most representation at the event won a FREE Pop-Up Opera performance anywhere in Delaware!
