OperaDelaware is holding chorus auditions for its 75th anniversary production of Les Contes d’Hoffmann. OperaDelaware’s chorus is paid, non-union. Please review the TENTATIVE schedule before requesting an audition. The staging portion of this schedule may change slightly, although we do not expect the musical rehearsals to change. No releases are granted from tech week or performances. A final schedule will be provided prior to contract offers, which are expected to go out around September 1.

Auditions will be held on June 4, 6 and 10 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the OperaDelaware Studios in Wilmington (4 S. Poplar St.) A pianist will be provided. Artists are asked to prepare two contrasting selections, one must be in a foreign language (French preferred). A confirmed appointment is required. No telephone calls, please. Due to limited availability, we regret that we cannot offer an audition to everyone. If you are granted an audition, we will send additional information. Artists interested in auditioning should fill out a request form HERE.
