Youth Opera Program
OperaDelaware’s Youth Program offers a variety of opportunities for youth in grades 3-12. The focus of the Youth Program is performing in various productions that offer different challenges to participants. We offer a variety of workshops and lectures throughout the year to sharpen both performance and technical skills. Including:
• Vocal Technique
• Acting
• Costume Building
• Set Painting
• Auditioning
Whether a student is an aspiring opera singer, a dedicated theater enthusiast, or just starting out, the Youth Program will enhance the student’s abilities and help them become a well-rounded performer. Sessions are led by energetic and experienced theater professionals who wish to develop the natural talent within each participant. Students also have the unique opportunity to audition for OperaDelaware’s mainstage productions that include a children’s chorus.
