The OperaDelaware Studio is the perfect place to schedule a meeting, art show, book opening, birthday gathering, cocktail party or wedding reception! With floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the Christina River, it is truly a breathtaking space.

Rental Rates
AFTERNOON EVENTS (12 pm to 5 pm)
Up to 50 guests
  • 3- or 4-hour limit
  • Rate: $150/hour
  • Includes chairs and 48” tables which seat 6 per table; use of 3 8’ tables; use of 6 high-top tables)
Up to 80 guests
  • 3- or 4-hour limit
  • Rate: $200/hour
  • Includes chairs and 48” tables which seat 6 per table; use of 3 8’ tables; use of 6 high-top tables
Up to 120 guests
  • Please note that 120 is our maximum occupancy
  • 3- or 4-hour limit
  • Rate: $275/hour
  • Includes: Chairs and 48” tables which seat 6 per table (We only have 16 48” tables available—if there are more than 96 attendees, renter would need to rent additional tables from a third-party vendor); use of 3 8’ tables; use of 6 high-top tables
EVENING EVENTS (5 pm to 11 pm)

Rules and FAQs
Two free hours are allowed for set up; additional set-up time is billed at $25/hour.

One free hour is allowed for clean up; additional clean-up time is billed at $25/hour.

If event runs beyond contracted end time, additional time is billed at the hourly room rate.

Linens and any other equipment needed must be rented from an outside vendor.

Rental rate includes security fee for on-site person ½ hour prior to contracted event start time and 1 hour after contracted event end time.

A deposit of 25% of the room charge is due at the time a contract is signed. An additional check for 25% of the room charge is also required. This check will be returned at the end of the event if all contract terms are satisfied.

Can I tour the space? Yes! Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Limited evening appointments are also available. To schedule a tour, please fill out the event information form above and request a tour in the "Additional comments/questions" field. We will generally respond within 24 to 48 hours.

What dates/times are available for booking? The Studio is available for rent at limited times during the year. Please see our rental calendar to check availability.

Is there an on-site kitchen? Yes, there is a kitchen available with access to a sink, microwave, fridge/freezer. Please note that there is no oven or stove.
