AVAILABLE COSTUMES
OperaDelaware
’s inventory ranges from Ancient Egypt, Rome, and Greece, to Renaissance, Restoration, and Modern costumes. Not only do we rent individual costumes, but we also have show packages (pictured below) for Aida, La bohème, The Hobbit, La Traviata, and The Phantom TollBooth. We welcome rental requests from professional, educational, and community organizations.

COSTUME RENTAL CHARGES
Costume rental charges are based on a complete costume (including shoes, boots, hats, etc.) and assume a performance period of no more than three weeks. Productions which run longer than three weeks may result in an increased rental charge. Prices only apply to costumes pulled by renter—costumes pulled by OperaDelaware staff will be priced at the Specialty Stock rate.
Regular Stock: $35.00 per costume, with all accessories
Specialty Stock and OD-pulled rentals: $55.00 to $85.00 per costume
Sets of armor, hand-painted garments, vintage dresses, formal gowns, and animals with masks are examples of specialty stock. Individual accessories are also available from $5.00 per piece.
VIEWING AND RENTING COSTUMES
You may visit our Costume Department nearly any Wednesday from 9AM to 6PM to browse, pull, rent or return costumes. Appointments on other days are made only in special circumstances, and at the discretion of the Production Department. To schedule your visit or rental please contact the Production Department at 302.658.8063 x 3253 or click here to e-mail. Please print out and complete the Rental Agreement, and bring it with you to your appointment. All rentals must be paid for, in full, before leaving Opera Delaware.
