OperaDelaware will collaborate with the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia to present a concert version of Verdi's earliest existing opera Oberto on January 28, 2012 at 2 pm at The Grand in Wilmington. The concert will feature AVA resident artists along with the AVA orchestra and the OperaDelaware chorus.

Michelle Johnson, a 2011 Metropolitan Opera National Council winner who is in her 4th year residency at AVA will sing the leading role of Leonora. Ms. Johnson thrilled OperaDelaware audiences during the company's Fall Studio Series.
