Annual Fund

Individual donors to OperaDelaware receive many benefits including recognition in programs and invitations to exclusive events. CLICK HERE to view member levels and benefits.

Matching Gifts: Many companies will double (or sometimes triple!) the value of their employee's gifts. If your company or firm has a matching gift program, simply enclose the form along with your contribution and we'll take care of the rest.

Brick Campaign

Would you like to honor or remember a special friend or family member in a tangible way that also supports OperaDelaware in celebration of 65 years of opera excellence in Delaware?

A personalized brick is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of OperaDelaware throughout the years and create a lasting honor for a friend, family member or opera lover! For a donation of $500 (8"x8") or $250 (4"x8") your personalized brick will be a permanent piece of our history and will be prominently placed in the walkway leading to OperaStudios. Gifts of Stock

If you own stock, it can be more advantageous, tax-wise, to contribute stock rather than cash. This is because a gift of appreciated stock generally offers a two-fold tax savings. First you avoid paying any capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock. Second, you receive an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift.

IRA Gifts

At present, only through December 31, 2009, you can make an out-right gift from your traditional or Roth IRA if you are over the age of 70 ½. We encourage you to discuss all of your tax planning with your accountant or other professional advisor.

Planned Gifts

Planned gifts allow donors to make gifts of cash, securities or property as one-time gifts or as part of a plan that provides income during the donor's lifetime.

Bequests: Bequest designations of retirement plan assets and property or life insurance policies are essential to ensuring that OperaDelaware will be around for generations to come. If you have named us in your will or estate planes, please let us know so we can welcome you to The Heritage Club! Memorial or The Perfect Gift Funds

OperaDelaware can create Memorial and Tribute funds for patrons who wish to make donations in honor of someone special. In-kind Donations

You can also support OperaDelaware through a wide array of non-cash donations. Below are items and services that would be of great use to the company.
